My name is Muhammad Sumair Kashmiri and I'm a 16 year old student in Roots international schools and colleges I'm currently studying in As and I have taken media studies as one of the subjects I will pursue in the future. As a child I never thought that I'll ever consider studying media in the future however recently a incident has lit a spark inside me causing me to gain interest in this subject. Nearly a month ago I went to the cinema to watch a highly anticipated movie Oppenheimer. Me being a Christopher Nolan fan with at least 3 of his movies in my top 5 had a hard time understanding him everyone I talked to had a different view of what happened in the movie. This intrigued me, imagine causing millions of people to understand the same movie but in their own ways and their own perspectives. this thought like a seed grew in my mind causing me to imagine myself in Christopher Nolan's position influencing millions of people to watch a project by me and understanding it to their capacity and perspective changing from person to person, society to society. I looked up media studies which would be providing me with a base and understanding on how to engage the viewers and connect through to them with nothing more than capturing moments on screen, and I was sold. My only goal for the near future is being able to portray what I think to the world which each of them and their own opinions being influenced by my personal thoughts.
