THE PRELIMINARIES

 THE SCRIPT

MIST 

INT . KITCHEN- Night

The scene opens with a black screen and the sound of water. It then shows a close-up of a knife being rinsed of blood in the sink. The killer hums a tune and continues until the knife has barely any blood left on it. The tap closes and with it the screen goes black.
It re-appears to the sound of heavy footsteps and a close up of black shoes, the scene continues as the camera trucks to the left and during this a body is revealed. 

EXT. HALLWAY-Night

The killer humming a tune picks up he headphone and opens the door and jogs out a medium shot of his back reveals him slowly tucking away his knife in his clothes and he walks out of the gate closing with a bang and a jump cut transitions into headphones on the killers head.

EXT. STREET- Night

The camera twists to show the face in a close-up and and dolly outs into as long shot.
The killer starts jogging towards the camera slowly when unexpectedly a car hits him and he blacks out.
The killer is shook it was all a hallucination but he starts screaming and this attracts the attention of nearby officers who upon hearing him come closer to him seeing the knife they hold him down in midst of him panicking.
Killer
"someone is after me I swear"
Officer
"sure buddy we'll talk at the station"

EXT. Police Car- Night

the killer is tucked into the car and the car starts and goes away then the camera dolly ins to the far end of the road where a person is stood with a knife. he then walks out the frame and it cuts



THE ONE LINER


For this I would be taking a completely different approach than the preliminary. The camera shots, composition and mise-en-scene will be highly controlled clean and formal. 
The scene starts with a close-up of blood being washed in the sink of a knife, it then cuts to a truck shot of a hallway and a body is visible in this. Then a close up of black boots walking out of the house onto the street with a truck left movement. Then a pedestal shot is taken revealing the build and the clothes which turns into a extreme close-up showing headphones on the killers head. The killer then starts jogging with a long shot showing him enveloped by the fog when suddenly a car crashes into him and the screen blacks out. it re-emerges to the killer standing and blue and red lights flickering and the killer starts screaming someone is after me while he is put away in a police car. The camera then goes to a rack shot of the tires rolling out from the street and a dolly shot is taken going to the end of the street where another man is standing with a knife and he walks away.

SCHEDULING

The reason for these dates is the environmental aspect of the film making process, lahore on these days is enveloped by a thick fog this causes a beautiful setting to be made for the video itself, this is what's going to be one of the selling factors that make my video more unique.

PRELIMENARY RESEARCH 



The Preliminary will focus on the setting for its artistic representation, for instance as seen in,

The fog 2005,




The lighting will contain filler lights illuminating in the fog certain aspects that I would highlight.

My next inspiration was the scene from the movie

killers kill dead men die- 2007




the idea of the person laying down creates a sense of uncertainty and solidarity that I will recreate in my movie.

This poster was made by capturing my street in the dark during early December when lahore was enveloped by smog and mist causing the streets to get damp, I further added a stock image of a person and added the effect of water as well as lowering the exposure in order to make it dark and aesthetic.
